It gives a common platform and equitable opportunity to candidates from all across the country, particularly those from rural and other remote locations, and aids in the establishment of greater connections with universities. Because of CUET, candidates will be able to cover a wide range of topics and participate in the admissions process for numerous Central Universities by taking a single examination. The exam was previously known as the Central Universities Common Entrance Test or CUCET

Key Points Regarding CUET Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Each of the participating universities is free to decide its parameters of CUET eligibility criteria for UG admissions to particular courses.
- The weightage of the CUET scores will be at the sole discretion of admission into any participating university of CUET 2024.
